Word Clouds and Enigmas!
Good Morning:
Today is Tuesday, January 25, 2011
Yesterday, we began Ch.1 "An Economic Way of Thinking" and you answered three questions to three real-world scenarios. Today, you will learn how to apply an economic way of thinking to help see the role that economics plays in various types of decision making. Economics provides a way of looking at and questioning what happens around us.
Adam Smith, the father of modern economics, left us with this quote:
"Every man is rich or poor according to the degree in which he can afford to enjoy the necessaries, conveniencies, and amusements of human life."

TECHNOLOGY SAFETY
Technology is such a wonderful thing, however, it can also get some people into trouble. On the other hand, if you are taught how to use technology in a safe way, then it should not be a problem. Today's activity involves watching a short movie about protecting your information online. I would like you to find the short 3 minute video on the left-hand side of this blog called "Protecting Your Information Online in Plain English" and then I would like you to respond to this posting and include three important things to remember about putting your information online.

T.G.I.F.

Good Afternoon Bloggers!
Thank goodness it is Friday...Today we will continue working on changes in QD and total demand. Please take out the demand packet 3-1 and 3-2 and your red pen so we can discuss and correct it. Before we get started I would like you to take this little pre-test on demand and email me your results and then after we correct the homework, you will return to this posting and take the test again and see if your results are different. After you email the results of your post-test, come back to today's posting and leave me a comment about what you learned over the last two days from working with demand curves.
Lastly, have a freaky Friday, work hard and always do your best!!!
